As a freelance Personal Trainer, I have the ability to train with you, right in your own home.  Sometimes we can be too busy, too intimidated, or too overwhelmed to get to a gym, and that’s normal. Let me show you how to exercise for your fitness level, provide correct technique and form to prevent injuries, and ensure you are getting the most out of your workouts.  I will be there to cheer you on as you become a healthier, happier version of yourself.

Nutrition counts for 80% of our success and it can be so confusing!  Let me show you how easy it can be by introducing you to Flexible Eating.  Flexible eating is not a diet; it’s a nutritional concept that is easy to follow and makes sense.  Flexible Eating can be set to general guidelines, or a customized meal plan based on your preferences.  Learn how much to eat, what to eat, and when to eat in order to create healthy and sustainable habits.  Discover that it is possible to have a very healthy relationship with food.

Corporate Training

As a Freelance Personal Trainer, I offer fitness in the workplace. Either one-on-one or in a small group, I will ensure you get your workout in during the day, freeing up your time at night. With Nutrition Coaching included as well, you will have all the tools you need to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle without having to leave the office!

Tammy and I have been coworkers and friends for many years.  She and I have had numerous friendly debates about my personal love for long distance running and low carb diets that have always rewarded me with only short term success stories!  Tammy believes in a more well balanced eating style and building muscle along with cardio training philosophy.

On January 1st I started training for my first full marathon in the Spring and was researching nutrition plans to give me enough energy to train but not gain weight on.  Tammy encouraged me to try a nutritional concept called Flexible Eating that she is using for herself and her clients.  Reluctantly, I tried it and incorporated more carbs into my meals than I have eaten for years and I am so happy to say that I more energy than I have had in a long time, have lost a few pounds even and feel great.  Tammy’s quiet determination and expertise, along with her humour at my resistance to eating carbs was the best possible incentive to trying something new and seeing results.

Fitness and Nutrition Coaching

I have battled with my weight since I was 10 years old. I was never really an "overweight" girl, but I hovered on the border and always felt very self-conscious of my size. My New Year's resolutions had a common theme for many, many years- "This is the year I will lose 20 lbs". I would lose 5 or 10 and then gain it back. I would repeat that same cycle over and over again, always staying within that same 10 lb range. I tried many fad diets, and ultimately, they all failed.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to, my dear friend, Tammy Nunweiler, for helping me reach my goals in 2015. She was able to introduce me to new exercises to target my trouble areas, guide me in finding balance in my diet, and truly instilled a passion for fitness. She didn’t make me cut out a single food from my diet and didn’t try to sell me a single gimmick. Thanks to her encouragement and my own determination, I am now feeling strong, healthy, motivated, and pulling sizes off the rack that I have never worn before!
